  1. What is the pricing for classes?
    A 60-minute class is $55/month and a 30-minute class is $35/month. The price remains the same regardless of how many weeks of class there are in the month.
  2. Is there a membership fee?
    Yes, $35 per family.
  3. How old does my child need to be for prep classes?
    For Jr. Dance & Level 1 or 2 Magic Kingdom Ballet, students should be 4 to 6 yrs old. For Twinkle Toes, children should be 2-3 years old but must be INDEPENDENT. Parent must stay in lobby. Mommy & Me class will take place with enough requests.
  4. When is tuition due?
    The first week of each month.
  5. What if I don't pay my bill on time?
    A $15 charge will apply when tuition is paid after 2nd Thursday of the month.
  6. Are there discounts for multiple classes taken?
    25% off with the second and third class.The fourth or more class is 50% off! Discounts will be applied to the lowest cost classes.
  7. How much do costumes cost?
    Costumes are APPROXIMATELY $80 per costume. A non-refundable $30 per costume deposit will be due in November. Another $30 payment will be due in January. The remaining balance will be due in March.
  8. Do all classes require a costume?
    All classes except acro classes will need a costume.
  9. What does my child need to wear to class?
    For Ballet classes, students must wear a leotard of any color. For other classes, students must wear a leotard or dynamic tank and black shorts.
  10. Will class be cancelled if the weather is bad?
    If Blue Springs schools close DUE TO BAD WEATHER, we will close! If the weather gets really bad in the afternoon or early evening and school did not dismiss early, we still may decide to cancel dance classes! So, if in doubt, please call Laurel’s cell at (816) 679-3244.
  11. What if my child wants to withdraw from a class?
    A two week withdraw form is required when dropping a class. Forms are available upon request. Tuition will continue to be charged if withdraw notice is not turned into Dynamic Dance.
  12. Will Dynamic close if Blue Springs School District has an inservice day or holiday?
    We will not necessarily close each time. Check newsletters and social media for specifics. If you are in doubt, call Laurel at (816) 679-3244.
  13. Will there be refunds or make-up sessions for classes cancelled due to inclement weather?
    No.
  14. What are the fees associated with recital?
    There will be a fee of $80 per family that includes 4 un-reserved seats and DVD. This will be due in May. For $20 more, you may upgrade to the front reserved sections. Fees must be paid in full prior to recital for dancers to go onstage.
